It’s nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by. This website is my online home where I share ideas, stories, and inspiration. I most enjoy being a connector, facilitator, convener, and educator. I like meeting and working with talented, dedicated, passionate people committed to using their powers for good in the world. I also like to celebrate my home: Columbus, Ohio.
Connector of dots. Lover of ideas. Fan of Ohio and the Midwest. I’ve been living in Columbus since February 2014 and love this city. I’m a communicator and community builder who believes in the power of stories to inspire, encourage, and change the world. While I value innovation and growth, my mindset is to figure out what’s working and do more of that and figure out what isn’t working and do less of that. I value openness, creativity, and connection.
Where I am and where I’ve been
I’m a marketing and communications strategist and community builder working at The Ohio State University in the central Donor Experience office. In this role, I help to thank our donors in meaningful, personalized ways and build programming and experiences to engage donors and showcase the impact of their philanthropy. A few examples of my past work includes leading a neighborhood chamber of commerce in Chicago, producing a documentary about Bigfoot researchers in Ohio, working on a U.S. Congressional campaign in Florida, and organizing volunteers for a film festival in Florida.
